Working as a community in weaving productions

“The modern world has unwittingly reduced the importance of weaving by losing the vision that comes with it. Modernisation has focused on speed and convenience for doing everything. Time is at a premium, in short supply. This is how weaving becomes relegated to something quaint because it is time-consuming, best left to the older generation who will soon pass on. Yet if weaving is given due respect, it can exist with modernity by enhancing it, endowing it with a unique identity of past and present.”
